The PRISMA® Advantage

PRISMA Preforms are lightweight structural components when properly laminated into fiberglass composite structures. Since their introduction in 1992, the patented PRISMA® preforms are used by major boat builders in several hundred thousand boats. The preforms are manufactured from high quality fiberglass knit fabrics and 2 pcf (nominal) flotation grade polyurethane foam.

  • Vertical compression capability is equal to form compressive strength and bucking load of the foam supported fiberglass side wall
  • The PATENTED tie veil interface assures maximum foam contribution by creating a toughened interface between fiberglass and foam
